ABOUT US

Levelling the playing field

Established in March 2000 through a joint initiative of the Barbados Olympic Association (BOA) and the Government of Barbados, the National Anti-Doping Commission (NADC) serves as the official authority on anti-doping in Barbados. Tasked with upholding the integrity of Barbados sport, the NADC ensures athletes compete in an environment rooted in fair play, transparency, and accountability. Its work aligns with international anti-doping standards and reflects a deep commitment to the values of integrity, fairness, and respect.

Protecting Sport Through Testing

We conduct in- and out-of-competition drug testing to ensure fair play and compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code.

Educating for Clean Competition

Our education programs raise awareness among athletes, coaches, and the public about the risks of doping and the value of integrity in sport.

Shaping Policy & Promoting Integrity

We work with local and international partners to guide anti-doping policy and advocate for a level playing field in all sporting disciplines.
